Study Sessions

Beginning this year, the Horticulture Club will host weekly study sessions EVERY WEEK for all students to attend. Snacks will be provided.

Curtis Orchard Social (Off-Campus Event)

Join us for a fun fall outing at the orchard! Come enjoy crisp apples, fresh air, and good company with fellow club members as a way to welcome autumn together.

Pumpkin & Gourd Painting (FREE)

Get creative this fall with our pumpkin and gourd painting night! Small pumpkins will be provided. It’s the perfect chance to relax, craft, and take home a festive fall decoration.

Carnivorous Plant Lab

Come explore the fascinating world of carnivorous plants! From Venus flytraps to sundews, and butterworts, we’ll showcase these unique species and learn what makes them special. Carnivorous plants will be available for purchase ($8.00 per plant).

Two for One! Talks on Native Flowers for Native Insects & The Sustainable Student Farm

Learn about some of our local native flowering plants and the insects that feed on them and learn about hands-on learning opportunities at the Sustainable Student Farm. As you learn, create a miniature dried flower arrangement to take home (first come first serve) and play Kahoot. Snacks will be provided!

Cocoa & Crafts Night

Unwind before finals with cozy crafts and a hot cocoa bar! Make paper snowflakes, garlands, and more while sipping cocoa. Our community will also have a short talk on some festive invasive plants.
